Parker Hilterman

Drummer for The Asshats

Parker is a the laid back drummer for The Asshats. He has the uncanny ability to get along with anyone, including his uptight twin brother. Parker's sense of humor consists of dry wit, creative insults, and sarcasm, and he has a tendency to come off as childish because of his inability to take anything serious. He is also known to go too far when it comes to teasing people, but he is quick to apologize.

Parker and Jared were raised in a white picket fence neighborhood in San Diego by their aunt after their mother died due to complications during childbirth. Their aunt resented them because they looked like their mother, but had their dad's eyes.Parker and Jared were five when their father decided to split, leaving them alone with their aunt, Sheila. Parker was more affected than Jared because of his and his father's closeness prior.When the boys were fifteen, they snuck out to a party to get drunk. The party was shot up by another freshman that had been in their shared math class. Both boys have scars from narrowly missed bullets Parker on his cheek and Jared on his shoulder.At 18, Parker immediately moved out of Sheila's house and into a shabby apartment on a sketchy part of Los Angeles, CA. It took Jared a bit before be joined him at 19 and the two started attending CULA together.Parker is a music theory major.

Travis Carter

Manager for The Asshats

Travis is a level-headed and rational man who rarely ever loses his cool. He has a tendency to ignore his emotional needs in favor of maintaining rationality, which leads to him coming off as aloof and indifferent. Despite this, he is also extremely territorial and jealous, especially when it comes to certain people. If confronted, he will insist that it is nothing more than him being protective.

Travis was raised around gangs and drug addicts. His father overdosed on heroin before Travis was born and his mother was just never able to fully fight the addiction, no matter how much she may have wanted to. He found solace in his best friend's house.Travis was four when he met Dean at the police station after Travis' mother left him in the park to get high. The two played together in the police chief's (Dean's father) office until Travis' aunt came to get him to keep her sister from getting arrested.When Travis was thirteen, he threw away his mother's heroin supply and hid her cash so she couldn't buy more to try and force her to get clean. His mother, in turn, dangled him over an overpass and demanded that he tell her where her money went. She was later arrested and Travis was placed with a foster home.Travis' foster home wasn't any better. They got busted and arrested for child abuse, neglect, and endangerment of his foster sister, who had lived there for three years longer than Travis did when he was fifteen. After this, he was taken in by Dean's family and given the basement to set up as his own little den.Travis went to CULA for nursing and graduated with his bachelors. He was a CNA for a year before he became the manager for The Asshats.

Jared Hilterman

Jared is the self absorbed lead singer of The Asshats. He's domineering and controlling, making him the least desirable within the band. Despite this, he believes that he is the hottest thing to ever rise in Hollywood and he doesn't care about what anyone thinks about him. Jared makes it a point to be as irritating as possible, constantly riding the line of redemption.

Guitarist and backup vocalist for The Asshats

Rocco is a smug, arrogant bastard who hides his feelings through blatant bullying. He doesn’t mean to be an asshole, though, because he genuinely loves the people he teases.

Rocco was born and raised in a catholic, white picket fence neighborhood with an abusive alcoholic father and a mother who had been so mentally checked out of their lives that she was practically a ghost haunting their halls.When Rocco was six, he was hospitalized for a broken femur after his father lost it on him for daring to suggest that God wasn't real (and that his father was proof of it). His mother didn't defend him and, instead, pushed the narrative that Rocco just fell off of his bike and hit the concrete wall in their backyard too hard.Rocco was thirteen when his father was caught cheating on his mother. He hated him for it, but his mother stayed because she wouldn't be able to successfully fight him in a custody battle and her kids would be stuck with him.When Rocco was sixteen, he walked into the bathroom to find his mother dead with an empty pill bottle by her head. She wasn't able to be saved and the funeral was held on his seventeenth birthday a month later.Rocco went against his father's wishes and majored in education instead of law. He is using teaching as something to fall back on if his music career never takes off.
